How do these programs work?
- For assistance in exploring existing on campus employment opportunities, the department chair and/or dean contacts the office of the Associate Provost for Academic Personnel to make the referral and to provide basic information about the status of the search or faculty/senior-level administrator appointment. The office of the Associate Provost for Academic Personnel assists the spouse/partner in making contact with Mallory Schon in Human Resources Services.
- For assistance in exploring on campus faculty employment opportunities that require central funding, the department chair and/or dean submits the funding request using the standard salary support request form. These requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- For assistance in exploring off campus employment opportunities, the department chair and/or dean contacts the office of the Associate Provost for Academic Personnel to make the referral and to provide basic information about the status of the search or faculty/senior-level administrator appointment. The office of the Associate Provost for Academic Personnel assists the spouse/partner in making contact with our external partner, Terri Deems, of WorkLife Design, Inc.
