October is National Work and Family Month
On October 21st, Iowa State's Work/Life committee will be hosting a brown-bag discussion in honor of National Work and Family Month. Professor Virginia Blackburn will be presenting a short noon workshop in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union entitled "Finding Purpose and Direction in Your Life." Dr. Blackburn's research and teaching expertise is in Business Strategy. She has expanded on these theories to develop a framework for helping people determine their unique Life Strategy. The session is very interactive and fun. Dr. Blackburn is an Associate Professor of Management who has published widely and won a number of university wide teaching awards.
