Listening sessions announced

The search committee for Iowa State’s next dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will host two open forums in March to solicit feedback from the university community. Both forums will be live streamed to allow off-campus stakeholders to participate, and viewers may also submit questions.

The sessions are an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to learn more about the search, as well as provide input on characteristics they would like to see in the next dean. Questions may be submitted during each session by using the chat window in the webinar, or via email to calsforum@iastate.edu.

The search committee is co-chaired by Guru Rao, associate vice president for research, and David Spalding, dean of the Ivy College of Business. Nominations for the position may be submitted at any time to Rao, gururao@iastate.edu, or Spalding, spalding@iastate.edu.
