University Life Survey
The University Life Survey assesses the living/working/learning environment at Iowa State University. The survey is administered by the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost. Every two years, respondents share insights that will improve university policies and direct future institutional practices.
Insights gained from the University Life Survey measured progress toward goals outlined in the 2005-2010 and the 2010-2015 Iowa State University Strategic Plans. Respondents are asked specific questions about the recruitment of students, faculty, and staff as well as university-wide efforts to support a positive learning and working environment.
Bi-annually, the President of Iowa State University reports survey results to the Board of Regents and uses participant feedback to assess needs and to implement future best practices. The overall goal of the University Life Survey is to improve the quality of university life for everyone at Iowa State University.
