Erin Schwartz

Erin Schwartz is the Faculty Recognition Specialist in the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost. She is responsible for recognizing the efforts of faculty and promoting the outstanding accomplishments of Iowa State's own through college, university, and external honors and awards.  

 

Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Iowa State University and continued her education at Iowa State having earned her Master's Degree in Counselor Education. Prior to joining the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost, Erin started her career as a high school counselor before spending fifteen years working in the Office of Student Financial Aid at Iowa State and two years serving the State of Iowa as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Erin joined the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost in December 2025.
